- "Hemming House" from Moda's Brannock/Patek design team. I love this collection elegant fabrics in shades of taupe, teal and raspberry. We have 8 bolts plus some layer cakes have been ordered. What are layer cakes you ask? Well its Moda's newest invention. Like the charm packs are pre-cut 5" squares of an entire collection, layer cakes are 8" pre-cut squares. Their just coming out with some really great patterns specifically designed for using the layer cakes.
- "Flutterby" by Tula Pink for Moda is an awesome hip, young fabric collection featuring paisley and floral designs of caterpillars, dragonflies snails and bumble bees in shades of hot pink, lime green and teals. You have to take a close look to see the creatures in the designs - very clever. We have 7 bolts, fat quarters and charm packs. I see quilts, jackets, purses and totes. Would make a great trendy diaper bag for a new mom.
- "A Very Hungry Caterpillar" from Andover. Yes that famous book from Eric Carle is here! This is my son Henry's favorite book, so I will have to make him a wall hanging for his room. We have a border, panel and 3 coordinates - Awesome! I have a feeling this will go out the door very fast...Go to www.andoverfabrics.com and download their neat free pattern.
- "Pet Pals" by Alma Lynne for Elizabeth Studios is a fun collection featuring cats and dogs in bright colors on black. Alma Lynne's great sense of humor is shown in one bolt of dogs in designer bags.
- "At Water's Edge" by Blackbird Designs for Moda is a classic beauty of soft florals in creamy shades of taupe, rose and celery green. I see an elegant bed quilt or a sweet table runner using a charm pack.
